Field Sales

The field team works in the same system as the books.

Beats, routes, visits and orders captured on the phone reach dispatch, stock and the ledger — without a single spreadsheet in between. Most field-force apps stop at the visit; most ERPs never reach the field.

Android and iOS apps, on the same database as accounting, inventory and dispatch.

A working day

From the morning beat to a period you can defend.

  1. 01

    Morning

The rep opens the app and sees today's beat and the outlet sequence, with priorities from history and coverage gaps.

  2. 02

    Check-in

Arrival is recorded with time and location inside the geo fence, so attendance and visits agree with each other.

  3. 03

    At the counter

The rep captures the dealer's stock, sees suggested lines from that outlet's history, and books the order on the spot.

  4. 04

    Before leaving

Missed and lost sales are recorded with a reason — no stock, no credit, competitor price — while the rep is still there.

  5. 05

    Same day

The order reaches the order book and dispatch without re-entry; the manager sees it on the live board minutes later.

  6. 06

    Period end

Coverage, strike rate and target achievement are computed from the same data — no separate field report to reconcile.

For the manager

The three questions a field head actually asks.

Is my team working?

Live board with check-ins, location and orders booked today, backed by attendance and route traces rather than a phone call at 5 pm.

Are we covering the market?

Coverage areas, beat adherence and whitespace: outlets that exist, are billed, but were never visited — with the value attached to them.

What are we leaving on the table?

Missed sales (asked for, not supplied) and lost sales (given to a competitor) are captured at the counter, with the reason.

Secondary movement

Dealer stock capture turns primary dispatch into a picture of what the market is actually pulling.

Suggested orders

Reps confirm a recommendation built from that outlet's own history and stock cover, instead of typing from memory.

Schemes that apply themselves

Sales schemes and daily pricing are applied in the field, so the price the rep quotes is the price the invoice charges.

Questions

What sales heads ask first.

Is the field team working in the same system as the office?

Yes. Field visits, orders, dealer stock and collections are the same records the office sees. There is no nightly import of a field-team spreadsheet into the ERP.

What does the rep actually see on the phone?

Today's beat, the outlet sequence, the previous order for each outlet, suggested lines, dealer stock entry, attendance and the day's worklog. Managers get the live board, coverage and productivity views.

Can we run our own beat structure?

Coverage areas and points define the geography; beats sit inside them with a fixed day of the week per rep. Tags let you filter outlets by channel, size or priority.

How is coverage measured?

From the visit records themselves: planned versus visited outlets, productive calls, strike rate, lines per call and time in territory — the same data the board shows live.

Does it work without the accounting edition?

Yes. There is a Field Sales / CRM / Support edition without the accounting stack for organisations that keep their books elsewhere.
